Our Operation Hugs program brings comfort, color, and joy to the little ones in our community.  Whether it’s a soft pillow tucked under a child’s arm or a bundle of essentials placed in the hands of a brand new mother, each gift is a small reminder for the recipient that they are seen, supported, and loved.

Our heart-shaped Hugs Pillows in bright, cheery colors are handmade with care and given to young students along with a book, toothbrush, and toothpaste. These soft, huggable pillows are provided to kindergartners at eight local elementary schools to help develop good bedtime routines while also giving children something warm to cuddle as they drift off to sleep.

Our Baby Bundles offer that same spirit of care to new moms. Each bundle is filled with a handmade blanket stitched with love, a hat, bib, onesie, burp pad, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) information in English and Spanish. We also include a book so each mother can begin reading to her baby from the very start. These bundles are delivered to an alternative high school that supports young mothers to help ensure they stay in school and earn their diplomas.
