Assisteens® is the youth auxiliary of Assistance League, where young people ages 11 to 18 build a lifetime of service, leadership, and community.
Assisteens® turns teenagers into citizens. Members plan and run their own community service projects, learn how nonprofits work from the inside, and build the kind of skills that get noticed by colleges, employers, and throughout their lives.
What sets Assisteens® apart is that the work is real. These are not pretend projects. Assisteens® help run Operation School Bell® distributions, organize food drives, sort donations at thrift stores, and design and lead service initiatives of their own creation.
