Get Involved

Welcome. We have been hoping you would find us.

Assistance League members are everyday people who decided to do something about what they see in their communities. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Membership in Assistance League is about more than volunteering. It is about joining a community of people who believe local challenges deserve local solutions—and who are willing to show up, work together, and create meaningful change.

Whether you have a few hours to give each month or are ready to take on a larger role, there is a place for you. Our members bring different backgrounds, skills, and experiences together around one shared purpose: strengthening communities through compassionate service.

What Membership Looks Like

You belong to a local chapter

Each chapter is its own community, with its own rhythm, programs, and personality. Your chapter is your home base.

You give time on a schedule that works

Chapters set their own time commitments. Some meet weekly; some meet monthly. Your local chapter will be upfront about what they ask of members.

You contribute dues

Chapters charge their own membership dues to support operations. Amounts vary, and your chapter will explain what dues cover.

You shape the work

Members run chapters. Members choose programs. Members serve on boards. This is your opportunity to help build something meaningful.
