Our members love volunteering at Operation School Bell events where students shop for the clothes and essentials they choose themselves. We cover the cost—and the best part is seeing the smiles that follow.

We proudly support our local veterans by providing scholarships and funding essential resources for Veterans Resource Centers throughout our community. From educational support to everyday necessities, we are committed to giving back to those who have given so much.
DreamCatchers
Extending Care, Comfort and Connection
Our DreamCatchers auxiliary brings together members who serve in the evening while supporting vital community programs. From funding memory care resources through Alzheimer’s Family Center, to providing essential items for patients at Silver Anchor, assisting seniors in maintaining independence, and offering therapeutic riding scholarships for children with disabilities—DreamCatchers extends care, comfort, and opportunity across our community.
Assisteens®
Young Hearts – Big Impact
Our Assisteens (Students Grades 7-12) develop leadership and a passion for service while supporting the Waymakers Youth Shelter and single-parent students in the CARE Program at Golden West College. Through meaningful initiatives like Birthday in an Envelope, Holiday Stockings, and the Oakview Care Fair, they bring joy, connection, and hands-on support to those in need.

Thank you for Making Our 75th Diamond Jubilee a Tremendous Success
What an unforgettable evening! Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, our 75th Anniversary Gala was a tremendous success — and we are thrilled to share that we exceeded our fundraising goal!
To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, served on the committee, and helped bring this special evening to life — thank you. A special thank you to our Fundraiser Chairs and their dedicated committee members whose hard work, passion, and countless hours made this celebration truly extraordinary.
Fueling Futures Together: Providing Hope and Healthy Meals During School Breaks
Assistance League of Huntington Beach is proud to partner with Summer Harvest through our Fuel a Future Campaign to help provide healthy, nutritious meals to local families with children who rely on free and reduced lunch programs during school breaks. This spring, together we were able to support more than 150 families in our community. Summer Harvest generously provided fresh produce, while Assistance League donated more than $3,000 in canned and non-perishable food items to help families struggling to meet basic needs during spring break. Our members greatly enjoyed coming together to pack and personally deliver the meals, knowing they were helping provide comfort and support to families who needed it most. We are excited to continue this meaningful collaboration as we prepare to support even more children and families throughout the upcoming summer break.
