Our chapters operate the programs their communities need most. From clothing children for school to standing with survivors of assault, every program is led by volunteers and rooted in local need.

Assistance League chapters do not run cookie-cutter programs. Each chapter chooses, builds, and adapts the programs that matter most in its city. What unites them is a commitment to dignity, direct service, and lasting impact.

Below are the seven program areas our chapters operate. Some, like Operation School Bell®, are signature national programs with a shared name and identity. Others, like food and education programs, take different shapes in different cities but share the same purpose.
