APPLICATION PROCESS
- Membership applications are accepted throughout the year.
- New member orientation/training is scheduled when we have multiple new members to take the class.
ALL MEMBERS SHALL:
- Pay for and successfully complete a Protected Person’s Name-Based Search;
- Complete online member profile and update as necessary;
- Support the vision and mission of the chapter;
- Pay annual chapter dues;
- Assume financial obligations as voted by the membership;
- Follow Assistance League Sierra Foothills’ policies;
- Report volunteer service hours on the chapter website every year by May 15th;
- Complete new-member orientation within three months of joining; and
- Notify Membership Chair if resigning during the fiscal year.
VOTING MEMBERS SHALL:
- Attend regular chapter meetings;
- Participate in and support the philanthropic programs;
- Participate in and support fundraising activities;
- Have the right to vote and hold office; and
- Serve on at least one committee (leader/member) either program or operational.
NON-VOTING MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO:
- Attend regular chapter meetings;
- Participate in and support the philanthropic programs of the chapter;
- Participate in and support fundraising activities of the chapter;
- Serve as a committee member, but not as a chairman.
ANNUAL DUES
- Dues for voting members are $100/year.
- Dues for non-voting members are $150/year.
- Dues are prorated during the second half of the fiscal year.
