Assisteens Norman is the teenage auxiliary of Assistance League Norman, open to students in grades 7–12 from all schools in the community. Through hands-on service, leadership development, and teamwork, Assisteens empowers young people to make a meaningful impact while building skills that last a lifetime.
Members support Assistance League programs such as Operation School Bell®, including assembling grooming kits and hosting donation drives. Assisteens also lead their own philanthropic and community service projects throughout the year.
In addition to volunteer opportunities, members gain valuable experience in leadership, public speaking, and responsibility
Meaningful service experiences can shape the way young people view leadership, compassion and community involvement for years to come.
Assisteens empowers students in grades 7–12 to make a positive impact through volunteer service while developing confidence, leadership abilities and a lifelong commitment to helping others. By serving alongside peers and adult volunteers, students gain valuable life skills and learn the importance of giving back to their community.
