For over 50 years, Assistance League Norman has been a volunteer-driven nonprofit serving the Norman and Little Axe communities. Founded in 1974, we are a 501(c)(3) organization powered by dedicated member volunteers who turn compassion into action. Through hands-on programs, local partnerships and community support, we transform lives by turning essential needs into opportunities for dignity, confidence and hope.
Operation School Bell provides new clothing, shoes, and essential items to local students in need, helping build confidence, support school attendance, and promote academic success.
Care Kits offer essential items and compassionate support to individuals facing crisis and trauma.
Book Of My Own provides children with age-appropriate books to build literacy skills, encourage a love of reading, and support academic success.
Seniors R&R brings joy, connection, and comfort to seniors through activities and thoughtful support that enrich daily life.
Providing comfort bears to children in crisis, offering comfort, reassurance, and a sense of security during difficult moments.
Assisteens Norman is the teenage auxiliary of the Assistance League Norman Chapter. Assisteens membership is open to young people in grades 7th through 12th grade.
