We provide teddy bears for persons experiencing trauma or distress at Novant Health NHRMC and other local facilities.

Hundreds of teddy bears are looking forward to putting a smile on a child’s face.
The first delivery of bears was in 2015
Since then we have delivered over 13,000 Teddy Bears.
During the last ten years, over 13,000 Teddy Bears have been distributed to our partnered recipients. Those partners include the Novant Hospitals in Pender County, Brunswick County, Scotts Hill, New Hanover County and Ortho Novant. We also provide teddy bears to SECU House, the YWCA Grandparents Program, Brunswick Family Assistance, Open Gate, A Safe Place, Med North Health Center, Brunswick County EMS and Pender County EMS.
The teddy bears proudly wear our Assistance League logo shirt. The soft and cuddly bears provide comfort and a sense of safety for people facing a medical/family crisis.
