Assistance League of Greater Portland offers scholarship funds specifically for students in trade programs at Portland Community College, Mt. Hood Community College, and Clackamas Community College. In 2025 each of these community college’s foundations have been awarded $35,000 which are dispersed to trade students to use toward their tuition, materials, supplies, books, and childcare. Since the inception of the Scholarship for the Trades program in 2016 Assistance League of Greater Portland has given over $300,000 to these often under-served community college students.
