Three Ways You Can Make a Difference
Help us provide school clothes for local children and award scholarships to teens & families in crisis
Our Programs
Through six philanthropic programs, we serve our community in their times of need
Operation School Bell®
Adopted by our chapter in 1989, Operation School Bell provides new clothes, toiletries, books, and a gift card for shoes to public school children in need.
Book Buddies
Our literacy program, Book Buddies, helps 2nd graders improve their literacy skills by working one on one with a handful of students in Stockton Unified.
Comfort Kits for Kids
Since 2005, we’ve been making Comfort Kits filled with toiletries, socks, blankets, towels, toys, books, crayons, flashlights, water bottles, and plush animals for children in foster care.
reShare
Since 2020, the reShare Program has allowed us to reach the unhoused by passing on donated items to other charitable organizations with established programs to assist residents of Stockton during their time of need.
Scholarships
Eligible college students enrolled at Delta College who are aging out of the foster care system can apply for a $500 scholarship through this program.
CAPC
We help the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Stockton by providing clothing and gift cards for essentials to families in crisis.

*Donations are accepted at the big blue door on Sierra Nevada, on the east side of the thrift shop. Ring the doorbell, wait, and we will assist you.
