We have four philanthropic programs which support the Wichita Community.
Operation School Bell® provides school clothing and basic hygiene items to school children in need. Over 115,000 students have received assistance since 1985.
Scholarships provides financial aid to individuals wanting to attend WSU Tech and Butler County Community College. Since 1988, Over 450 scholarships have been awarded.
Assault Survivor Kits provides basic clothing and hygiene kits to victims of sexual assault. Over the past 7 years over 3,100 assault victims were assisted.
Bear Hugs provides teddy bears, totes and journals to child victims of violence. Since 1997, Bear Hugs promoted healing to over 6,200 children.

We are currently not accepting Christmas items and winter women’s clothing.
The Thrift Shop is our primary source of funding for our philanthropic programs. We are proud of our reputation as one of the best boutique-style and friendliest thrift shops. Our members work hard to make sure the merchandise is always good quality, clean, and priced fairly.
We sponsor several events throughout the year to support our philanthropic programs and to engage the community.
Day of Caring – In March we provide multi-cultural, multi-lingual books for young readers served by Hunter Health Clinics.
Open Streets ICT – In October the Thrift Shop is open as we support a community-building event along the iconic Douglas Avenue.
Food Drive – In December we support Giving Tuesday by delivering food donations to the Kansas Food Bank.
