Assisteens of Orange is a co-ed auxiliary of the Assistance League of Orange, composed of dedicated students in grades 7 through 12. Our mission is to develop a sense of community responsibility, self-reliance, and leadership skills through hands-on philanthropic service.
By volunteering their time, our members gain valuable experience while providing vital support to the children, seniors, and families of the City of Orange.
Our members are active participants in the community, leading and executing programs that change lives. Key areas of focus include:
Youth Support: Assembling school supplies and clothing for local students.
Community Care: Preparing meals for families in need and visiting local senior residents.
Thrift Shop Support: Gaining leadership and job skills by supporting the Assistance League Thrift Shop.
Fundraising: Selling treats at a booth at the Orange International Street Fair and supporting fundraisers for Assistance League and Orange Blossoms.
Senior Honors: Graduating seniors are honored at the spring Medallion event for successful completion of all Assisteens requirements.
Whether you are a student looking to give back or a parent interested in the program, you can find full details on membership, service requirements, and current philanthropic projects on our dedicated website.
