Assistance League®’s signature program, Operation School Bell, began serving children in Fresno County on October 5, 1990. Since its inception, Assistance League of Fresno has provided clothing to more than 100,000 children.

Through this program, we have made meaningful progress in supporting children’s educational success by ensuring they have access to new school clothing—helping them arrive in the classroom with confidence and ready to learn.

Building on this strong foundation, Assistance League of Fresno is expanding its efforts to support not only children, but also families, by providing goods and services in the following areas:

Clothing, Hunger, Literacy, School Supplies, and Health

Operation School Bell was founded on a deep sense of compassion and community care. Today, it continues to exemplify Assistance League’s belief that generosity and simple acts of kindness can make a profound and lasting difference in a child’s life.
