Assisteens®
ASSISTEENS is an auxiliary of Assistance League of Fresno, dedicated to developing young men and women through philanthropic service, fundraising, and leadership opportunities. The program began in 1989, originally serving 9th–12th grade girls, and expanded in 2002 to include young men. Today, ASSISTEENS is 163 members strong, representing high schools across Fresno County. As a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization, we are committed to creating programs and services that enrich and improve the quality of life in our community. 
Led by its own Governing Body, ASSISTEENS is a vibrant and energetic group of teens whose primary focus is supporting their chapter’s philanthropic initiatives. Members take an active role in selecting, voting on, and carrying out their own service projects, fostering both responsibility and leadership. Each year, ASSISTEENS contributes more than 6,000 hours of community service. Beyond volunteering, members also have opportunities to connect with peers from other schools through monthly meetings, as well as engaging in fun group activities and events.

Application
ASSISTEENS accepts applications from students completing 8th grade, with members committing to a four-year program throughout their high school years. Through philanthropic service and relationship-building, ASSISTEENS fosters a strong sense of community while helping members develop personal responsibility, self-reliance, and leadership skills.
Applications for the 2027–2028 ASSISTEENS membership will be accepted from March 1 through March 31, 2027. To apply, please use the link below to access and print the information packet, which includes the application forms. Completed applications must be mailed and postmarked by March 31, 2027.
