
The S.A.I.L. Grant (Student Achievement and Innovative Learning) is a philanthropic grant program of the Assistance League of Santa Ana. Funding is available for teachers from preschool through high school who write a proposal for an innovative project that enhances student achievement. A selection committee reviews applications using a rubric to select grants for projects ranging from $500 to $1,000. Last year, over 25 teachers were given funds to make their projects a reality.
The Nadene Hall Memorial Art Program is a separate grant funding as part of the S.A.I.L. program. This program provides funding for field trips to art museums and programs. Visual art teachers can request funding to cover transportation and admission costs for their students related to the current curriculum they are using
