Hands of Hope
Hands of Hope partners with three different agencies.
One of those agencies is Voices for Children.
Our volunteers provide events to help Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) the foster youth with whom they work. This includes an age group of children from ages between newborn to 18 years old.
Hands of Hope also works with the Just in Time agency.
Just in Time benefits Foster Youth who are 18-25 years old and have aged out of the system. Volunteers provide items they may need to set up a home, i.e., household supplies, personal care items, and laundry supplies.
The third agency that Hands of Hope partners with is One Safe Place.
This agency was started by San Diego District Attorney’s Office and helps primarily women and children who find themselves in emergency situations, by providing medical, legal and housing assistance. Volunteers also provide backpacks with emergency supplies such as toiletries, hygiene items, clothing, books and stuffed animals.
