Oregon Heritage
- Assistance League of Eugene organizes and gives tours at the Lane County Historical Museum to Lane County students, grades K-5.
- The curriculum and our tours include the history of the Oregon Trail and early settlement in Lane County. It also includes the history of the Native Americans met along the way and the Kalapuya people who were here in the Willamette Valley when the settlers arrived.
- Tours are scheduled through the Lane County Historical Museum.
- Children enjoy exploring artifacts from the settler and Kalapuya people of the 1800’s.
