Operation School Bell®

We provided…

New clothes, shoes, underwear, hygiene products and period products to children in the Coachella Valley. Each year we help about 6,000 children in elementary, middle and high schools, giving them the confidence, self-esteem and empowerment to attend school and gain the education they are entitled to.

Each child receives new, size-appropriate shoes, socks, underwear, t-shirts and an age-appropriate hygiene kit.

We also provided…

7,300 additional hygiene items and 65,935 period products to the Wellness Centers at the schools and period starter kits for the younger girls.

Assault Survivor Kits®

We provided…

68 kits of comfortable new clothing and personal care items are provided to survivors of assault when their clothing is retained by law enforcement as evidence.

Assault Survivor Kits originated in 1991 in Auburn, California where the kits were introduced by Lee Ann Greer who was a member of Assistance League® of Greater Placer after she saw a need in her community.

We also provided…

Compassion and dignity in life changing situations. Instead of wearing a hospital gown as they leave the medical facility – they can wear new clothing which we hope will provide some small measure of comfort to survivors.
