In 1979, Assistance League of Omaha began its connection with Santa Monica House. Santa Monica, a home for women recovering from drug and/or alcohol dependency, has received donations which include household items, refreshments for holiday parties, hygiene products for residents, as well as vouchers for clothing from our Assistance League Thrift Shop. Committee members also work with staff to provide activities for Santa Monica residents to teach personal, life, home, and work skills to help them assimilate back into the community.
