We Help Others (WHO)
La Posada Home
Volunteer members package every day necessities to help abused and homeless women and their children living in La Posada Home. Needed items that we provide vary each month, and can include toiletries, paper products, diapers, baby formula, cleaning supplies, towel sets, linens, and bedding for each room. Families are able to take these supplies when they transition into more permanent housing.
La Posada Home provides a safe environment for these families as they work to create a new life.
Last year we helped 155 adults and 245 children living at the house.
Ronald McDonald House
We provide three dinners each month for the families staying a Ronald McDonald House. We average about 20 residents each month.
The parents and siblings are so grateful to have home cooked meals and to just know the food is there waiting for them to return from the hospital.
We have also provided them with laundry supplies.
