Become An Adult Member

When you join you become a voting member

New member dues are $100 (which includes Member dues of $90 + $10 for your name badge)

All members have an annual volunteer commitment of 66 hours (prorated from when you join)

Included in your 66 annual hours is a commitment of 14 Thrift Shop shifts (3 hours each)

Thrift Shop shifts are our collaborative fundraising efforts to raise revenue for our programs

Attending our monthly meetings September through May (no meeting in December) is beneficial to your participation

Participating in our philanthropic programs’ activities brings purpose to what we are all about

Committee work and some social activities builds camaraderie within our organization

When joining you will be required to agree to the policies of the chapter

Join as an Assisteens member

Assisteens is an auxiliary of the chapter for students in 8th through 12th grade

You may join as an 8th through 11th grade student

New member dues are $55 (which includes Assisteen dues of $30 + $25 for Logo Polo shirt required for all Assisteens)

Assisteens have monthly meetings on Monday evenings (August through April – no meeting in December)

It is important to attend all eight (8) meetings as part of your volunteer participation (excused absence only)

Assisteens have an annual volunteer commitment of at least 35 hours per year

Assisteens are expected to participate in scheduled fundraisers

Assisteens support the chapter by working 2 Thrift Shop shifts per year

Assisteens participate in philanthropic programs for the auxiliary and the chapter

You have an opportunity to meet teens from other surrounding middle and high schools both public and private

When joining both student and parent will sign consent forms

Become an Adult Community Volunteer

Athough not a member of the chapter a Community Volunteer can provide talent and community support

It does require a time commitment that fits a Community Volunteer’s availability

Community Volunteer service hours will be tracked and recorded for the chapter

There will be training provided for an understanding of our Thrift Shop and the philanthropic work of the chapter

Examples of our needs include working at our Thrift Shop, helping students in the chapter’s Operation School Bell® program, serving on a committee to work on chapter events, providing special skills such as computer specialist or as a translator at our Operation School Bell program events.

Please note no person convicted of a felony, or a misdemeanor involving sexual misconduct or moral turpitude, may serve without exemption from National Assistance League®. Community Volunteers may not be alone with a Protected Person.
