Voting member – $65.00 annually

A voting member is an active participant in Assistance League’s activities and is able to vote on chapter business.

• Attends regular member meetings
• Volunteers at chapter programs and fundraisers
• Keeps a record of volunteer hours on LeagueLink
• Serves on a Chapter committee or Board of Directors
• Actively uses the LeagueLink calendar for volunteer signups  

Nonvoting member – $100.00 annually

A nonvoting member wants to volunteer occasionally and support the activities of the chapter financially.  This membership type is ideal for someone with limited time to give.  Nonvoting members are not able to vote on chapter policies and business matters.

• Volunteers at chapter programs and fundraisers
• Keeps a record of volunteer hours on LeagueLink
• Actively uses the LeagueLink calendar for volunteer signups  

Background Checks – please note that because our organization deals directly with children all members are required to have a criminal background check, paid for by the chapter. We hope that you will understand the importance of protecting the children. 

Our members gather once a month on the first Thursday of the month, except for July and December.  We also have two fun luncheons, one in the fall and one in the spring.  Meetings are the best way to stay abreast of how our chapter is doing and upcoming events and initiatives.

There are so many ways big and small that our members can contribute to the success of our chapter’s mission, of serving children, by putting their skills to a meaningful use.  Our members can find just the right volunteer activity that meets their time availability, doing what they like best.  Examples include:

• Serve as a volunteer in any of our six philanthropic programs
• Help dress kids in our Operation School Bell® program
• Help pick out prom dresses in our Cinderella’s Closet program
• Lead by serving as a chair in any of our six philanthropic programs
• Be creative by chairing one of our fundraising events
• Be part of technology committee
• Make something happen by serving on a committee
• Be a leader – serve on the Board of Directors
• Volunteer to work in our warehouse
