We are proud to be a chapter of Assistance League®, a national organization of 95 chapters throughout the United States. We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening our local Clatsop and Pacific County communities. We were chartered in August of 2007 and became an Assistance League Chapter in May of 2011.
Our members are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young adults in our community through their hands-on involvement in our innovative philanthropic programs. We offer and support six community based philanthropic programs (link).
Our funding sources come from the generous and kind hearts of our personal and business donors, foundation grants, annual Direct Mail campaign, and fun fundraising events that take place during the year. We also make great efforts to give back to businesses in our community by keeping our program purchases local.
