Assistance League of Irvine awards scholarships to income-qualified high school students planning to attend Irvine Valley College.
One (1) graduating senior from each of the Irvine Unified School District high schools planning to attend Irvine Valley College will be awarded a minimum $1,000 scholarship. Additional scholarships will be awarded to qualifying graduating Irvine Unified School District seniors planning to attend Irvine Valley College, without respect to high school of attendance, as funds are available.
Assistance League of Irvine established scholarships in 2018 under the Saddleback Valley College Career Technical Education program in conjunction with both the Irvine Valley College & Saddleback Valley College as they are connected by the South County Community College District. Our scholarship will provide students the opportunity to enter the work force more quickly, with a specific technical skill set in Automotive Technology.
The Certificate Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to income-qualified students who plan to complete a certificate at the community college level. An applicant must be enrolled in a local Orange County college and plan to take a minimum of three units per semester.
Assistance League of Irvine has established scholarships to Irvine Valley College using proceeds from Assistance League of Irvine’s Thrift & Gift Shop income together with a $10,000 endowment called Assistance League Irvine Scholarship Endowment. Budgeted income and interest earned on the endowment principal balance provide funds for scholarships which are awarded each year to deserving students at Irvine Valley College.
