The Los Altos Village Association (LAVA) presents more than a three-dozen fun, family-friendly events every year in Downtown Los Altos. LAVA events include: Easter Egg Party, Arts & Wine Festival, Farmers’ Market, Beer/Wine/Bubbly Strolls, Holiday Stroll, and Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, among others. The organization also underwrites the annual Corvette Spectacular, year-round street tree lighting, maintenance of the flowerpots on Main and State Streets, and promotional marketing for the Downtown Los Altos triangle.

First Friday is a free community event featuring 10-15 bands playing simultaneously throughout Downtown Los Altos starting at 6 PM, every month, year-round.

Resilient Los Altos (RLA) is dedicated to improving the resilience of the community of Los Altos, California, and adjacent areas. In a declared or defacto emergency, our BATs, CERTs, and hams are prepared to mobilize as trained volunteers to operate initially at the neighborhood level to assess personal injury, hazards, and building damage and to communicate that information to the City government to help focus and allocate assistance.  

Arts Los Altos is dedicated to implementing public art that creates connections among diverse community members and local businesses, elevating the cultural identity of Los Altos.
