Assistance League of Irvine is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to providing programs and services that will enrich and improve the quality of life in our community.
Assistance League of Irvine was founded in 1990. We have over 110 members and community volunteers, as well as 140 middle and high school teens who comprise our Assisteens® auxiliary, who log over 24,000 volunteer hours each year staffing our various philanthropic programs.
Operation School Bell provides new school clothes for students in the Irvine Unified School District.
Assistance League of Irvine provides scholarship assistance to local Community Colleges.
Family Emergency Support program assists victims of domestic abuse by providing goods and clothing for shelter residents.
Our Vision Care program provides new glasses for qualified students attending Irvine Unified School District campuses.
Creative Educators Award Grants are given to Irvine Public Schools Foundation for teachers or counselors to benefit students.
Assistance League of Irvine gives a grant to the UCI Claire Trevor School of Arts to support their programs.
Challenged teens and adults are given on-site work experience at Assistance League of Irvine’s Thrift & Gift Shop during regular business hours.
