Assistance League of Bend is an all-volunteer nonprofit serving Deschutes County, bringing comfort and hope to children and adults facing hardship through hands-on, community-based programs. All funds raised stay local, and with no paid staff, the greatest possible share of every dollar directly supports the programs and people we serve.
What We Provide
What Your Dollars Support
- New school clothing and shoes for children through our signature program Operation School Bell®, plus initiatives supporting foster youth, high school formalwear, literacy, cooking education and holiday celebrations.
- Handmade knitted hats and other comfort items that provide support for those undergoing cancer treatment.
- Care and connection for seniors living in long-term care and assisted living facilities with the delivery of hygiene items, handmade greeting cards and holiday gifts.
