New Beginnings

Aiding the unhoused and abused

New Beginnings works with social agencies in Atlanta to enrich the lives of more than 28,000 unhoused and abused children and adults, helping them on their path to self-sufficiency. This philanthropic program provides practical household goods, clothing, Assault Survivor Kits® and personal care items to those affected by abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.

Your donation of $30 will purchase one Assault Survivor Kit for female assault victims to get basic clothing and hygiene kits for going home from crisis centers or 30 daily hygiene kits for unhoused men to get cleaned up. Your donation of $200 will purchase a gift bag of household items and food for an unhoused family.

Testimonials

“It is so valuable and humanizing and a very prideful thing to get clean.  We don’t have the budget to purchase thousands of hygiene kits.  Without you we would not have these kits, and our clients would not be able to get cleaned up.”

Molly Williams, Community Relations Director, Gateway Center

“New Beginnings has been instrumental in helping us to provide these daily-needed items to our residents.  By providing the Center with toiletries, clothing, paper products, laundry detergent, and food donations, New Beginnings allows the Center to focus our dollars on caring for the kids medical, psychological, and scholastic needs.”

Project U First – Erica Wright

U First is incredibly grateful for the power of partnership and community. Working

alongside Assistance League of Atlanta has been such a meaningful and inspiring journey.

Their generous donation of essential hygiene items will help support our mission of restoring dignity, hope, and care to individuals experiencing homelessness and children in need. Every item donated represents compassion in action and serves as a reminder that when communities come together, lives can truly be changed.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us continue to serve with love.
