The Assistance League of the Eastside, hereinafter referred to as the Chapter, operates a public website. The Chapter cares about the privacy of its website visitors and therefore does not sell or otherwise make available personal identification information to any person or organization.
The Chapter’s website may contain links to other sites not affiliated with the Chapter. Every effort is made to ensure that those sites share the same standards regarding privacy. However, since the Chapter is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites, users are encouraged to read the privacy statements of each and every website that they visit. The information contained in the Assistance League of the Eastside Website Privacy Policy is for the website of the Chapter only.
The Chapter website and the website of National Assistance League contain trademarks, service marks, graphics, and text that are the property of Assistance League of the Eastside and/or National Assistance League. These properties may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed without the prior written consent of the Chapter or National Assistance League. The Chapter takes every precaution to protect the information of users. When the user submits sensitive information via this website, the information is protected both online and offline. When a registration or contributor form asks for the user to enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number, that information is encrypted and protected by encryption software. The information provided will only be divulged to members of the Chapter needing access to this information, such as the Treasurer.
We maintain records of all contributions to Assistance League of the Eastside. Authorized members of the Chapter may contact donors to obtain additional information. This may be done through electronic or telephonic means or through postal mail. Donors may choose to opt out from, or restrict the use of, their contact information by notifying the Chapter. Donor names and addresses will not be sold to outside organizations or shared, unless required by law (see Donor Privacy Policy). The Chapter may list the donor’s name and details of the donation in publications of the Chapter that may be seen by individuals outside the Chapter, unless requested not to do so by the donor. This information may be contained online or in documents including, but not limited to, annual reports, press releases, grant applications, and/or community newsletters. Donors may view copies of annual reports, IRS Form 990, and/or other relevant financial documents on the website, or contact the Chapter for these documents, prior to making their donation. Donors may also ask for examples of prior publications showing the manner in which donor contributions have been acknowledged.
The names of individuals and businesses appearing on the website have been included with their express and implied knowledge. Personal information will not be divulged for any reason unless it is expressly granted by the individual or business and is specifically warranted.
