Cultural Programs Provide a Window on the World

Enrichment for Children and Connection Across Generations

Enrichment activities and experiences are essential to the development of well-rounded children. Chapters sponsor art discovery lessons, youth exhibits, live theater, symphony performances, museum visits, and scholarships for science camps to introduce fine arts and enrichment to local school kids.

Kids on the Block puppetry programs explore important topics such as disability, cultural differences, healthy eating and exercise, social problems, and acceptance of self and others.

As a gesture of kindness and camaraderie, Assistance League members also befriend senior adults in assisted living facilities.

They host parties, organize special activities, and provide small gifts that bring cheer and encouragement to the older generation.

These programs nurture creativity, empathy, and connection—strengthening communities across generations.
